Mrs Tina has lived in Bacoli her whole life and she will be happy to teach you how to make and then taste typical local dishes that she cookes everyday for her family.
With Tina you will be able to cook a typical neapolitan lunch or dinner, inspired by the Mediterranean diet famous all over the world for its tastiness and healthy properties.
The Mediterranean diet was a name coined in the mid-1970s by American scientists Ancel and Margaret Keys, used to identify a traditional lifestyle that they discovered and studied in the Mediterranean since the 1950s.
Their research on cardiovascular disease had revealed for the first time in the history of medicine that the longevity of the populations of Southern Italy, particularly Naples, Cilento and the rest of Campania, was explained by their eating habits, social customs and local productions.
The Mediterranean diet was inscribed in 2010 in the list of the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
The menu will consist of 4 courses that you can choose, at the time of booking, among the following proposals:
1st Option - Taste of the sea
2nd Option - Taste of the land
