Even the municipality of Monte di Procida and its inhabitants celebrated the victory of the Napoli team in the Italian football championship. In particular, an entrepreneur has donated a bronze statue of Diego Armando Maradona to the municipality of Monte di Procida, created by the famous Neapolitan sculptor Domenico Sepe.
The statue, which represents Maradona in the famous gesture "of the hand of God" was installed on the panoramic viewpoint and dominates the gulf of Monte di Procida and the islands of Procida and Ischia. Beyond the scenic wonders and the famous archaeological remains present in the area, now there is one more reason to visit the Campi Flegrei, Bacoli and Monte di Procida.
